Can I Use Saran Wrap to Make Nail Art

Today I thought I'd do something a little different for my nail art challenge postal service- since quite a few people take asked me about Saran Wrap manicures, I thought I'd practice a tutorial and show how I practise mine. Saran Wrap Mani Tutorial
Here are the supplies yous will need: A covered work space, 2 contrasting colors of polish (I used ChG Kalahari Kiss and OPI Flit A Bit), a folded up paper towel for blotting, base glaze, top glaze, plastic wrap of whatsoever make (this is from the Dollar Tree), a brush for cuticle make clean upward, a square of can foil or plastic (don't listen the shine remnants, I use mine till it tin can't be used whatsoever longer), and acetone for clean up.
Step One: Apply your base of operations coat and then paint your nails with your base colour. I used the lightest of the two merely it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. Feel complimentary to experiment. This is ane coat of Kalahari Kiss and information technology obviously needs more than one coat. 🙂

Stride Two: Rip off a pocket-sized piece (possibly 4 inches broad, the length of the roll) of plastic wrap and wad it up into a bunch. You don't need to over call back this. Ball that sucker upwards!
Pace Three: Put a few big drops of the secondary polish color, I used OPI Flit A Bit, on the slice of foil or plastic. Get your wad of plastic wrap in your paw.
Stride Four: Dab your piece of wadded upward plastic wrap into the shine, making sure to blot it a fourth dimension or two to get rid of the backlog smooth.
Step Five: Dab your plastic wrap with the polish on it onto your nail. Only dab it once or twice to make certain not to employ too much paint to the nail. I find that I need about three dabs per nail to get the correct effect. You will need to re-coat your plastic wrap with smooth later on a blast or two. Just call back to dab it in the smooth, blot it a little so dab information technology on your nail.
Step Six: Echo the process for all of your nails. Don't worry about getting the polish on your surrounding skin. Information technology's gonna happen, merely information technology's non too much and so the cleanup isn't very bad.
Stride 7: Clean up your surrounding skin and cuticles past dipping your brush into some acetone dumped into the lid, wipe the castor along your cuticles and over the pare that has shine on information technology, absorb it on the paper towel so douse information technology back in the acetone to clean up the next nail. If your brush is looking nasty, swirl it around in the acetone and blot it on the paper towel a few times. It'll come perfectly clean. Add a coat of top coat to cease up your nails.

I went a little heavy on the cuticle oil, I guess. That's not a mandatory office of the look. 😉
I promise some of your found this tutorial helpful or at least interesting! 😉 I dear the Saran Wrap Mani and really wanted to use this every bit a base for some stamping but never did go around to that. The good thing is that it's really i of the quickest forms of nail art so I'll be able to whip upward another Saran Wrap Mani any night when I experience like trying it.
